‘Joyful Noise’

Hallelujah, a Hollywood musical that features actors who can SING! Grieving the death of her husband (a welcomed appearance by Kris Kristofferson), G.G. Sparrow (Dolly Parton) must deal when the vivacious Vi Rose (Queen Latifah) who is appointed to her husband’s post as church choir director instead of her. The two ultimately join forces when a choir competition comes into play. With the help of Vi’s vibrant daughter (the fantastic KeKe Palmer) and G.G’s sweet bad boy nephew (Broadway star Jeremy Jordan), they shake up the group and take home the prize. Joyful Noise offers just that—especially enjoy the film’s showstopper ending medley.
