‘Spaceballs’

Ten years after the debut of Star Wars came Spaceballs, a Mel Brooks sidesplitter that gathered up classic Brooks elements—sight gags, puns, ethnically inspired hijinks—and, well, shot ’em into space. The cast includes a who’s who of 80s/90s comedy, including John Candy, Joan Rivers, Rick Moranis (as Darth Vader send-up Dark Helmet) and Brooks himself, not to mention Bill Pullman and Dick Van Patten. Celebrate thirty years of Spaceballs and get raspberry-jammed as you comb the desert.
